The Vice-Chancellor's Environmental Sustainability Awards celebrate the University's environmental commitments and contribution from the staff and student community. The work done by Dr Kim Polgreen, our Youth Educator in Residence, was chosen as the runner-up. Countless school pupils have visited our 'Classroom with Leaves' and have tasted all that Wytham Woods have to offer.

'It is amazing to see local children develop a connection to nature in the Woods,' says the Conservator, Nigel Fisher. 'We hope that their experiences here will stay with them in years to come.'
